The Grant money had not come through as of meeting time, and a check was written from the Senior Squares account to the painter for 1/2 of his money for $4,058.00 to start the painting work. The balance to the painter will be $4,058.00 when the painting is finished. Hopefully the Grant money will come through. If not, we will be doing some big fund raising.

The tentative schedule for the completion of the squares are as follows:


• Thursday, Nov. 27 Max McGhee will mobile wash the squares
• Friday, Nov. 28 the painter will do the sealant
• Friday, Dec. 5 the fence will come down and the squares will be washed again
• Monday, Dec. 8 at 10:00 am will be the official unveiling (This is a new date from Saturday, Dec. 6. so I am not real sure about the time).


The benches and plaques will have to wait until we find out about the Grant money.
