General Meeting Minutes:

In attendance were: Sarah Butler Walker, Mark Fenstermaker, Patty Haack, Bill Chadburn, Laura Beverlin Dillon, Gary Vause, Jenny Diller.



• Some of the Senior Square members attended a meeting with the Las Vegas Academy Historic Preservation group to discuss "future preservation efforts for the Senior Squares". A square was chosen to determine if they are salvagable. The square is 1969 on top, but 1956 under the re-paint. They hope to complete the experiment on this square by Thanksgiving. (Sounds like they need Indiana Jones to assist).
  
  
• Mr. Geyre has given permission for a group to look in all of the closets, etc. for artifacts from LVHS that have been taken down. (Like the outside light fixtures.) A date will be set for this project.
  
  
• Sarah needs to download addresses for mailings.
  
  
• Class of 1956 reunion was held on November 3-4 and they raised approx. $300-400 for the Senior Square Project.
  
  
• Pictures are needed for inside and outside of the buildings for preservation purposes, such as Frasier, Main and the Gym.
  
  
• Patty will create a roster of names and phone numbers for the committee.
  
  
• No date has been set for the next meeting. Will notify by e-mail when set.
