General Meeting "Notes":

In Attendance: Sarah Walker, Mark Fenstermaker, Marjie Holland, Bill Chadburn, Patti Haack, Sharon Rymann, Laura Dillon, Rollie Gibbs
Mark Fenstermaker is still waiting for the proposal from Marnell Construction authorizing the start of construction to be signed by Mr. Gerye. Just as soon as this is signed, Mark can set start dates with Marnell. Mr. Gerye, if you are reading this, please contact Mark Fenstermaker.
Patti Haack is getting some assistance from Steve at Tate, Synder, Kimsey in locating companies to make an upright monument telling the history of the Senior Squares and a "Thank you" area to list the donators, etc. It was suggested that a "Time Capsule" be incorporated into the monument containing all of the research about the restoration of the squares and drawings.
We still need pictures of the squares for the following years:
1942, 1943, 1944, 1945
We also need color photos of most of the squares.
And a yearbook cover for the year 1947.
The next meeting will be Monday, October 21, at the school at 6:15.
If Mark gets authorization and can schedule a start date to remove the concrete, we will try and notify you and the newspapers, so we can have coverage for the papers.
