Notes From Sarah Walker, Chairperson

In attendance: Sarah Walker, Mark Fenstermaker, Rollie Gibbs, Patti Haack, Laura Chadburn


Pictures of the following squares are still missing: 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1978.

The Bill Boyd Wildcat Reunion is Saturday, June 14, 2003 at Sam's Town. The cost is $40.00. Many of us will try to attend and report about the progress of the squares. Maybe some of our '70 classmates can plan on attending and we can plan a gathering for Friday night.

Rollie has found a source for the cement benches that we are considering to use as benches and as a plaque for the history of the squares and as a Thank You area.

Sarah is going to contact Rick Lenz about the Grant money.

The painter for the squares will be attending the April 7 meeting.

Donation Letter:
Sarah read the letter to the group and it was agreed that it is ready to send. Sarah will send a note to Woody and have Sahah post the letter for Donations.

List of names for the Thank you Plaque:
We started a list of names that we want to be sure are included on the thank you plaque. Everyone is asked to send me a quick note when they think of someone that has helped. We do not want to miss anyone.

Media Coverage:
We discussed wanting media coverage at the completion of the squares and placement of the benches.

Draft on the explanation plaque:
Patty will work from the web site and draft an idea for the plaque that will tell the story of the squares. She will bring to the next meeting.

The next meeting is April 7, Monday.
